Strategy and Partnerships
 

a. Collaborations and alliances: Partnerships with leading global and local brands. 
Strategized and developed partnership models with global and local brands in fashion, design, education, IT, NGO, NPOs and sustainability. Partnered with brand names like: Wacom, FICCI, FDCI, BOF, Asian Paints, Snap Inc, ADI, Pune Design Festival, Retailers Association of India, etc.  More details on home page.

b. CSR Initiatives: Skill development programmes
Tihar Jail Fashion Lab by Pearl Academy powered by ONGC

In its second phase, I worked with Pearl Academy to align its mission with Government of India's 'Skill India Mission' to transform India's workforce into a skilled one. This is an inclusive programme that aim to offer a respectful skill to the woman inmates in Jail number 6 at Tihar Jail offering them certifications for training in pattern making and few other technical skills for weaving and embroidery. 

SETU Foundation - Skill development

Aligning with the government's initiative to impart skills, I worked with Pearl Academy to build a CSR project with SETU Foundation, Noida. This was to train 

trainers at their center who will further work with a group of young ladies and empower them with skills to create patterns and new garments for Indian wear on their own.

Sustainable fashion advocacy
 

a. Mend in public
Led the first global Mend in Public day event in Delhi, India. for Fashion Revolution India. The event was featured by Voice of Fashion. View the glimpses of the event here. 

 

b. British Council x Fashion Revolution India partnership
Led the communication campaign for the launch of Craft in the age of climate crisis report, a collective partnership report by Fashion Revolution India and British Council.

c. Workshops, dialogues and advocacy
Leading critical dialogues, workshops, masterclasses and events on mending, repair, swaps, #LovedClothesLast, #WhoMadeMyClothes, #MendinPublic, #SecondhandSeptember, #WhatsinMyClothes and others. 

 

Curating and developing long-term and short-term educational partnerships strategies to make sustainable fashion education more accessible.
